About

My Journey in Data

I am studying Masters of Data Science from the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines. Studying in this highly technical field is like submerging myself in the deep sea. Yet, every time I manage to raise my head above water, there’s an overwhelming sense of satisfaction and relief that keeps me holding on. The best thing about studying here is that they not only teach the intricacies of data science and business, but also give us opportunities to get better at communicating with our stakeholders.

Prior to studying masteral, I specialized in crafting data visualizations and analyses for a diverse clientele at Data Studio Whiz. It’s a Philippine-based agency helping coaches and businesses make better use of their data with Looker Studio dashboards.

I first uncovered my fascination with data while working as a web developer. My primary focus was on backend development, and this frequently led me to engage with SQL. It was in the intricacies of crafting robust databases and manipulating data that I found not just a task but a genuine interest. This experience served as the catalyst for my transition towards a more data-centric role, ultimately shaping the trajectory of my professional journey.

Beyond Work and Pastimes

To break free from the work hustle and daily stress, I lose myself in the enchanting worlds of Isekai and reincarnation webtoons—an escape that keeps me grounded.

When it comes to family game nights, I’m dead serious about Scrabble and Machi Koro, even if video games aren’t exactly my forte.

My ultimate dream is to become a Disney princess, but alas! I do, however, play my part by collecting floral hair clips and experimenting with different hairstyles. There’s also a thrill in the hunt as I scour IG and live sellers for cute tops and skirts during my downtime.

Remember, life’s a balancing act between deadlines and daydreams.
